Our Renaissance

It seems like America is all about change now that the elections are near. What will really change the face of this nation? Here are 3 things that could play a major role.

Writers Strike � If the writers strike continues, more and more people will look else where for their entertainment. The Internet is for most people the next option. Websites like YouTube, Metacafe, 5min and others are a natural next step. The Best thing is that most of these sites are commercial free. Internet shows like PurePwnage and Diggnation with already established fan bases will applicate the continued strike more than most.

MAFFIAA � With the success of In Rainbows and more recently Steal This Film 2, more and more people will turn turn to the method of free release and donate. This will only hurt the MAFFIAA (MPAA + RIAA) and benefit the consumer. Also with another college standing up to the RIAA and saying no to their massive mailing of letters, it wont be long before others follow suit. Will 2008 be the year they are finished off? Most likely not, but it may be the start of something beautiful.

Election of Ron Paul � A presidential candidate that knows his stuff and in the opinion of many would make our forefathers proud. Ron Paul believes in one main thing, our constitution. The main stream media ignores him most of the time, but I cannot. I believe if America is to have a future this man needs to be elected. Hope for America.
